Day one:  Morning or afternoon start from Entebbe International airport. You are met on arrival by your safari guide who will transfer on a lovely trip along the outskirts of Kampala towards the forested areas of Mabira forests. You proceed to Jinja where a short drive to the source of the Nile features a boat trip into second largest inland freshwater Lake Victoria. The boat ride heads out to the actual point where the Mighty River Nile begins the journey into the Mediterranean Sea on a 6000kms journey through Uganda, Sudan and Egypt. The evening will be spent at your overnight accommodations in Jinja at the Jinja Nile Resort Hotel.

Day Two:  Breakfast at the hotel whilst enjoying the vistas of the Mighty Nile and the Bujagali Lake and later, check out to begin your tour to the Ziwa African white rhino sanctuary. You will have a guided walk to track the rhinos on foot before heading to the top of the Murchison falls for an evening tour around the magnificent waterfalls.  The mighty Nile of raging white water rapids can be seen at different view points in plumes of white water and silhouetted rainbows hurling down river through a fissure in the East African great rift valley. From here, depart to your overnight accommodations across the Nile which is accessed by the scheduled ferry from the southern bank. Dinner and overnight at the banks of the Nile at Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day Three:   Breakfast at the lodge and later, meet your safari guide for the morning game viewing in the open savannah dotted with acacia forests, Borassus palms and plains savannah. The ranger guide will be happy to offer guided walks close to the safari vehicle, should this necessitate. The wildlife will be spotted from the viewing top of the vehicles and you will have chances of catching cape buffalo, Uganda Kob, Oribi, Hartebeest, Snake Eagles, Elephant, Hyena, Lions and Giraffe. In the afternoon after the lunch break at the Paraa safari lodge, proceed to the jetty for an afternoon cruise on the Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls. Along the banks of the Nile, can be seen large families of crocodile, Hippos, African pied Kingfishers, Goliath Herons, Water buck, red throated bee eaters and a variety of other animals that would access the banks for a quench of their thirst. Pictures of the Murchison Falls are taken from a landing Island in the middle of the River and the boat will sail back the same way towards the starting point. Dinner and an evening swim at the lodge before dinner and the night stay at the Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day Four:   Early breakfast and proceed through the traditional homesteads of the local Banyoro and bagungu tribes before heading through Masindi and Hoima on a long drive sown south. There will be a stop at a favorite place to have a picnic lunch before proceeding along the Rweonzori Mountains back roads into the town of Fortportal to arrive for dinner and overnight at the Mountains of the moon Hotel.

Day Five:    Breakfast at the lodge and head through the Crater areas of the Queen Elizabeth National park with the sightings of the Elephants, Uganda Kobs and Cape Buffalo.  The drive through the Ishasha forested sections of forest may yield Black and white colubus monkeys, Olive baboons, red tailed monkeys, Giant Forest Hog and other wildlife. You may also see the famous tree climbing lions in the trees along the road.  Later, proceed to your overnight accommodations arriving in time for lunch and an evening self guided excursion of the community in the nearby area. Meals and overnight at the Gorilla Resort Hotel.

Day Six:     Morning wake-up call and have breakfast before heading to the park office to begin the morning gorilla trek briefing by the park officials. Picnic lunches and enough water will be provided on the walk as well as a walking stick to help with the balancing on the steep terrain in the impenetrable jungle of Bwindi. The trekking will be conducted by the assigned gorilla guide and trackers who will be a step ahead of the gorilla trekking party of 8 visitors. The gorilla group feeding from the time the animals leave their overnight nests will be viewed for approximately 60 minutes under the guidance of the guide. Later, a nice spot where the gorilla trackers congregate will be used to have the picnic lunch before returning to your overnight gorilla camp back at Bwindi to freshen up and have dinner before overnight.

Day Seven:   After breakfast, either transfer to the nearby airfield for the scheduled one hour flight to Entebbe. Alternatively, depart for Mbarara for lunch and drive to the Uganda Equator for an afternoon visit and later, either head to Kampala arriving in the early evening or take a divert to Entebbe  airport to arrive by about 5-6pm for the evening departure flight.
