With a permit costing USD 500 per person, you are allowed to track the mountain gorillas ( Gorilla berengei berengei ) in the Bwindi impenetrable forest in the south western part of Uganda. The gorillas live in families and so you may be advised to visit a gorilla group depending on the availability of permits.
